				Vibram Five Fingers are awesome

I just love these shoes. I first heard about them about a year ago. I finally decided about a little over a week ago to check them out. I grew up in FL, so spent a lot of time barefoot when I was youn, and I find sandals more comfortable than shoes. Last Sunday I bought a pair of KSO Treks because they have brown kangaroo leather uppers which would allow me to try them at work too. I found that just sitting at work my feet would sometimes get sore in regular shoes (and I shop for comfortable shoes). I wore them at work a few days last week. They were so much more comfortable than regular shoes that tonight I ordered another pair of KSO Treks in black. Today, I picked up a pair of KSOs for casual wear. The KSO Treks are designed for more heavy duty wear like hiking and trail running so they have slightly more beefy soles. The thicker soles limit your movement a little more than the thinner soles of the KSOs. The regular KSOs with the thinner soles are even more comfortable than the KSO Treks and allow for a lot of movement of your toes both up and down and spreading. I highly recommend that you try a set on someplace and see what you thing. This is what I've got in brown with black in the mail And here's my casual pair. You can wear them without socks, and you can machine wash them. I prefer socks to keep odor down, so I had to buy new socks to go with them. You can get the socks online and the store where I bought the first pair had some socks too.

When I worked at Nike one of the development teams was working on individual toe shoes, similar to these. The people on my team (I was in marketing, not development) jokingly called them "The Cornelius" after Roddy McDowell's character in the Planet of the Apes.

I sent my mother a pic of me wearing the brown shoes. She called them werewolf shoes. I've also heard them called gorilla feet.

It's funny, when I was posting about them, I was thinking that you were the prime candidate to wear them.
