Try Churchs chicken. It's really good.

I love the stuff. I can eat a whole bucket of it. Every three years.

Baz 10-19-2011 08:30 PM

I used to get those mashed potato bowls once in a while but that was last year so I'm not a regular KFC (or any other fast food) diner.

But I have to say - the KFC here in NSB has always been the most friendliest staffed fast food place I've ever experienced. I always though the management must have their priorities in order.

Not a big chicken eater - especially fried - yuk.

Great post though...very creative! Hope you feel better! :D

I've probably eaten at KFC 12 times in the past 35 years. It was good way back when, but paled in comparison to my mom's homemade fried chicken.

The KFC near us is so nasty, I refuse to eat there.

I made some chicken that tasted quite similar: S&P, garlic and onion power, oregeno, basil, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Roll in tempura(rice) flour, dip in egg whites, roll again in flour. Fry in hot cast iron.

Handing money through the car window sounds much easier. Getting hungry.

When I go to KFC I think what beautiful food (three piece quarter pack), what a beautiful place, I'm in the most beautiful state of mind as I eat this, then I look around at the regulars and I think these are NOT beautiful people and I could end up looking just like them soooooo easily.

Haven't eaten any KFC or any animal products for over 20 years. Couldn't be happier or healthier.
Just my 2 cents.

LOL :D:D:D:D
Well played Lube.

GH85Carrera 10-20-2011 05:06 AM

Lubey, it is most likely the slaw. Those vegetable things are killers. Stick to the deep fried chicken, that kills off the bacteria.

Your own tests shows how safe the burgers are! :p

If I want fried chicken, I have my wife make it, best on the planet, near as I can tell.

I can't remember the last time I ate KFC, at least 30 years ago. Mom used to pick it up on the way home when it was the only fast food within 10 miles of our house.

Avoid the slaw man! No telling how long that stuff's been out in the open air, and key ingredients have a chance of contam raw, and no 350degree oil or pressure cooking....Too many strikes.
+1 I will never touch that stuff while dining out. Hope all of you anal discomfort is coming around.

This is pretty good (the 50/50 burger)half hamburger half bacon but it is a heart attack waiting to happen.

Yeah, but we use Canadian bacon which neutralized the heat attack :D

pavulon 10-21-2011 03:08 AM

A significant percentage of the local KFC staff are wearing county property on an ankle...no thanks.
