Anybody Know Accordions?
When my father passed away this past July, this accordion was found in one of the bedrooms in his house. This is the only pic I have of it, but I can take more if necessary. It looks quite old...probably made in the 50"s if not earlier.
The only marking I can find on it are the "Royal Model Detroit" and the name "FRANK" shown in the picture below. I've tried googling websites to see if I could find anything that could help me identify exactly what this is, i.e, when made, etc, but there really isn't much to be found, regarding old accordions. ![]() Cheers! Randy

That is a beauty. Maybe the outside was customized for a cat named Francis, with German works inside
Accordion is among the numerous and varied instruments my older brother owns and can play. I don't know that there is anything he can't play, to tell the truth.
