Crime in your town
I don't know how accurate or complete the data on this site is, but it's interesting. Put in your state and find your town and it superimposes crime stats on a google map image. It differentiates different crimes using different icons.

Funny, I plugged in my little town and there were several "other" lists there, on streets that we do not even have in town. Maybe it was the theft of the streets that they are listing?

It never will be accurate or close to it, most people don't report non violent crimes. Especially illegals. Not that I live in a bad area, but my sector is clean, and I know that's BS.

Typed in my town and the map showed zero arrests. I guess the police are to busy to make any.

Most of the crimes committed in the town I live in were in the student housing at Sonoma State University. All theft and vandalism.

I have seen some of the crime sites that were just bogus. You could do the same search twice and have different results. They were web sites put up by security systems companies just to get more sales.

Last month, a pie that had been left on a window sill to cool was stolen. The neighborhood is still in shock.
