Jetta with porsche wheels?!

Bored staring at the amount of wheels wheels collected over the years for my 944's, 914's, 928's....lol anyways I can't use my 15 in wheels anymore because I have sold my n/a and my turbo will be running some monster S4 calipers in next couple months. Anyways I have man hole covers, fuchs, D90's, turbo twists, and wanting to put them on my moms DD 01 Jetta. I heard from someone local it's a direct bolt on, And I'm too lazy to go through my entire collection to see what fits... I know the offset for the jetta is 5x100. the porsche wheels 5x130? Do I need adapters, or should I stick to early offset, or late?

You need adapters to go from one bolt pattern to the other. I think you'll be limited to later wheels because of the higher offset.

Sell them to the watercooled VW crowd. They're by far the cheapest of any enthusiast group yet they'll spend stupid amount of money on whatever "scenesters" do with their cars, i.e. putting ill-fitting Porsche wheels on their mk2 crapwagens. I'm sure you can get some nice upgrades for your cars with the proceeds

I feel your pain. I have (currently) two sets of 16" BBS RS, a set of phone dials, three sets of fuchs and a set of cup IIs. One of these days I'll get around to finishing up all of them (the fuchs are half-polished and one of the BBS sets I bought new shells for in order to run 10.5" rears and 9.5" fronts.

Of course it's kind of silly to have this many wheels for one "pretty" 944, one track car and a garage queen 911... But I just can't let 'em go. They're far too pretty to look at - it's kind of a weird hoarding obsession I suppose.

[rationalization]I guess I need to pick up another car. [/rationaliztion] Anyone got a picture of a 968 with BBS-RS-es? At 16" I think they'd fit although require spacers (not a big deal in the grand scheme).

You'd need adapters, but if I was going to that trouble, I'd want boxster wheels. The old 944 wheels look good on the early '90s VWs. So go find a corrado owner, sell all your wheels, and go buy some turbo twists.

you'll need the H&R (well, I prefer them, but other brands will do) adapters for 5x100 to 5x130. They are 25mm (yes I've done this before) which means for it to work for a non wide body Jetta the offset of the Porsche wheels needs to be in the +50s range...

Would 15" wheels fit on a Mk4 Jetta? Don't they come stock with 16's?
