Fast Food - One Year Later

Well, for those of you who remember, I bought a vinella shake, fries, hamburger and cheeseburger. It has been one year now.

Still no signs of mold or mildew. The shakes have lost considrable volume and have solidified. The nutritional value remains the same...

Wow, that is incredible. Eating that stuff for years, when I die you could just stick me in a corner and I'd look fine for decades. I should have fed that stuff to my rattlesnake before I killed it. Then I wouldn't have had to bother tanning the hide.

VaSteve 10-24-2011 01:45 PM

Those are two diff layouts....do you have the link to the original?

Rick V 10-24-2011 01:46 PM

Holy crap, I am so glad I quit eating that kind of "food" years ago. That is scary

RWebb 10-24-2011 01:49 PM

thx for posting Mike

in a few years you can test some of it as rat poison

masraum 10-24-2011 01:51 PM

I get an urge and grab a double quarter pounder with cheese about 1-2 times a year. I skip the french fries, and I haven't had any sort of soda (other than club soda)in at least 8 years, but I think it's been more like 10.

I used to drink A LOT of soda.

azasadny 10-24-2011 01:51 PM

Yep... I haven't eaten "fast food" in over 5 years and I don't miss it one bit!

futuresoptions 10-24-2011 01:53 PM

I wouldn't mess with the shakes or fries, but I would eat one of those burgers...

vash 10-24-2011 03:05 PM

even the wrapper turned white!!

porsche4life 10-24-2011 03:11 PM

And here I was contemplating mcds for dinner.

UconnTim97 10-24-2011 03:13 PM

I will give you $1 to take a sip from either of those milkshakes substitutes. ;)

Cdnone1 10-24-2011 03:18 PM

Those are two completely different "meals". Are you implying that the second picture is the same food from the first only a year later?

Steve

The first pic shows a shake in a McD's cup, then the second shows A&W cup. Same meal?

Just the sight of those pictures is enough to cause my stomach to roll. I have not eaten in a McDonalds restaurant since 1994, and I won't any time soon. I don't like their business practices, but mainly...the last time I ate there I nearly became sick from all the grease and crap.

I can eat Taco Bell, and I eat at Subway regularly. But I will literally do without before I eat at a McDonalds. I am 100% serious.

N!

Interesting.

Is that a McDonalds and Burger King side by side comparison?

That is how I see the setup.

livi 10-24-2011 04:45 PM

Ship it over, Lube. That would be a definite step up in my cuisine.

LWJ 10-24-2011 06:39 PM

That is some good research. WOW. Gross.

Yes, one is from McD's and the other from BK. The BK cup has a funky design. Both are shakes, fries and a hamburger and a cheeseburger.

If anyone wants to try and find the link form last year have at it.

Rick V 10-25-2011 05:55 AM

You could leave Mc-food-substance out on the table and my dog wouldn't bother it, and she would lick her azz. That was enough proof for me
