Wow. this is horrible news. As many have said, she was a hell of a Lady. She will be greatly missed.

Breast Cancer...... My wife was diagnosed with it 7 years ago and they caught it early. Radical mastectomy of the right boob, and amazing reconstruction surgery at UCLA. Caught it so early that no chemo, no radiation. I feel so sorry for her family, a real loss and so young. What a peach.

Wow, that sucks. You sort of feel like you get to know people a little on this internet thing.

She was aces. Life is short, shorter than you think a lot of the time.

My wife too was diagnosed with breast cancer early this year, it was caught early
as well.

So sorry to hear this and so sad to lose such a good close friend, though we've never met!

WOW, so sorry for the loss. I never met her but read many of her posts and I felt that her family was truly blessed to have such a great person in their lives.

I am at a loss for words for anything else to say except so very sorry for your loss.

I don't know what to say. I'm stunned.
Been away from pelican for a week (no internet) and just got home.
This thread was right at the top as well it should. Hell of a way to catch up with the Pelican news.

Wow! I'm staggered. What a tenuous grip we have....

This is really one of those "kicks you in the gut" moments. Her posts and wit will be missed. Godspeed Lisa.
