Yeah...bveen there before. But the (much) younger sister of an old GF looked me up and has invited me over for a long weekend. What's a guy to do? LOL

I'm sure she'll appreciate that.

What kind of a place do you like? Beer oriented, wine oriented or cocktails?

What activity? Music, talk, dining?

Finally, what scene? Rock, Jazz or Kicker?

You might want to wait for the kicker stuff for College Station...

Matters not to me, James. I'm totally flexible although I'll be in casual travel clothes; i.e., jeans. I can pretty much fit in anywhere. Somewhere you guys are comfortable doing....so long as it isn't a chain....like locals' places best.

Ugh... jealous. I haven't been back since 2003. Places I miss:

The Chicken
Fitzwilly's
Zapatos

All in Northgate, btw. You'll have a good time at any of them.

Before you guys goob me beyond recognition, I've accepted an invitation to go to a Rennaisance Faire in Plantersville (sp?) with the young lady in question. Never been to one but she promised to make it interesting. That weekend's theme is Medieval Pirates. She promises to dress as a wench....hey....life's short. At least it ain't a Star Trek convention. LOL

Anyway...if Monday evening is better I'm game.

ARGHHHHHH!!!!!! AHOY MATIES....

Ah. Renn-Faire. I was a member of the SCA many many years ago...

As far as Houston, I'm up for any of the days, or all of them. Saturday and Sunday I'm not available.

Word of advice: don't stay in a hotel near Hobby airport! Kind of a bad part of town, but it's easier to get in and out of than Intercontinental. I'm up for happy hour if time permits.
