Kill the Cat, or Reprimand it?

It depends if the cat is mine or the neighbors.

red-beard 11-10-2011 04:57 PM

Is it poop or vomit?

Noah930 11-10-2011 05:02 PM

I've got scratches down the rear flares on my turbo from my cats walking on the car only to discover the body slippery to air molecules and felines as well. I was pissed, but my car's a driver. I'll live, as will the cats.

Porsche-O-Phile 11-10-2011 05:02 PM

At least keep a cover on the car!

Cats get jealous.

"blook, blook, blook!" (I still crack up when I think of the first time I read that bit of accurate onomatopoeia on this very board...)

Noah930 11-10-2011 05:05 PM

I tried a car cover. The cats would just try to squirm their way under it (i.e. between the cover and the car). They had become accustomed to taking naps inside the cabin and were looking for an open window. Unfortunately they would use their claws to help them explore under the car cover.

I know what I would do....

Hugh, you're a Disney guy. I watched Cars 2 for the first time this weekend. In it, Mater declined to get his dents fixed (as did Holly Shiftwell at the end of the movie), citing that each one was a reminder of an experience he had with his best friend, Lightning McQueen. Not that I'm into destroying the paint and finish on my car, but now that the scratches are there, I try to rationalize that one day my cats will be long gone, and I'll still have those faint/buffed scratches to remind me of them. And the time my daughter, at age 3, tried to help me wash the car by tossing the hose (with heavy metal nozzle) on top of the roof and dragging it across.

dtw 11-10-2011 05:20 PM

Ehh, it's just a Targa.

pwd72s 11-10-2011 05:23 PM

Yep, only a car...a little soap & water & you'll never know the difference.

azasadny 11-10-2011 05:28 PM

I would do to the cat what I've been doing to the mice in my garage...

exc911ence 11-10-2011 05:41 PM

Neither, it's just a little puke. Man-up and get your wife to clean it off. :D

Hugh R 11-10-2011 06:15 PM

Cat barf. I posted this in jest. For some reason the cat likes to sit on the Targa top, fortunately she doesn't sharpen her claws on it.

Dave, reminds me of a joke, "How many men does it take to muck out and outhouse? None, that's women's work!!

tevake 11-10-2011 06:26 PM

I can tell your wives don't read along with you . Or at least I hope not!

Did crack me up tho,

onewhippedpuppy 11-10-2011 06:44 PM

They did the same thing on my 930 while it was over the mechanic's. I saw the damn cat do it.

teenerted1 11-11-2011 01:45 PM

get a dog

Brando 11-11-2011 02:01 PM

Put one of those timed air-wick sprayers on top. Bonus points if it has a motion sensor. Keeps cats away :D

I suspect you'd have gotten a lot more votes if it didn't have public results.
