More info..... 50yo healthy lifestyle fashionista... mother of two teens (boy and girl) drives a new X3 (which she loves) lives in a beautiful house (which she loves) with a husband (which she barely tolerates)......... I am thinking $1000 to $2000 range. Must be small, I need to carry on a trip prior to presenting on xmas.

Those Michele watches seem to be popular with the gals. I've also notice a lot of women prefer to wear a mens watch. For reasons I cannot explain, I find this really hot...... |

Trust me, I am not Lance Romance, but I try and stay aware during the year and listen to what my wife has opinions about and then buy accordingly.
I actually send an email to myself when I hear something promising gift wise. Again, I only know a few things but hitting a triple on our anniversary and a dinger on her birthday are tasks a troglodyte such as myself can manage. BTW, my wife is, in horse parlance, an easy keeper: no muss no fuss. The price of the gift, as we all know, is for a well sorted woman less import than the thought that goes into it (to a certain point). An observation that has worked for me: If you go practical, have an emotional nugget, something meaningful as a follow up. This Christmas is iPad central, which she wants and will use. I then found some original sheet music she talked about eight months ago. So, run the tapes back, talk to your kids (also key since they hear things better than we do), look at the magazines she gets, etc.

My wife has a high heel collection: loves her heels. for Xmas, I'll take twelve small 10x8 frames & take twelve tasteful photos of celebrities in their $ heels: crop & frame to arrange them all on the back wall of our closet: she'll love it.
