Great to see you back, happy, happy B-day for the Missus! It's great that one of these stories is having a good ending.
|
Cool. Glad you're back man.
|
"Hell I got you into these cars didn't I?"
True, I was in my 17th year of recovery after selling my 914. Thought I had it beat until we met and I saw your's. "By the way I wrote this book while I was in the hospital." LOL - Safe to say your back! |
yeah I'm back.. do you still run my old FL license plate on your race car? Got a pic?
|
Sorry but your NOTAVW plate now hangs on the back of my work bench now. I ran that plate when it was a dedicated track car but for the last year she's been dual purpose, "PCA D Stock" and "street rat" with live tags and insurance but no heat or air, no door windows, full cage, headers, yada yada.
Can't even throw that plate on for a pic now. While you were enjoying sponge baths, I was completing my initial run in relocating back to MD. Right now the car is in Tampa and the camera is in Annapolis. Getting back on subject: Just so you know, due to your event we've made some lifestyle changes around here sooooooo on Jan 5th I will not only toast you with a fruit juice but (after being a smoker for more than half of my 55 years) I will be nicotene free. Hoping the same for you brother. Oh yeah, we will be making a trip to the Lucas Lodge in 2012. :-) |
WOW! That's a LOT to absorb. Your really coming to MD. Yer smoke free. as I will be, AND yer coming to visit??? That's a wow. Can't wait.
|
Nice robe. Do you have matching slippers? If not I know what to get you for PPOT gift exchange...

Well the relo was finalized a week ago during the exact time frame the "Pelican First Responders" were doing their part to help save your life. Since then we've been in full scramble mode. Nathalie actually started work there today, based in Reston, VA. A New Castle trip is a natural and was already on our list.
I haven't mastered the toolbox here but I think if a poll were taken, many others have also made lifestyle adjustments as a result of your experience. So Mr. Facilitator, you have managed to re-kindle my P-Car problem and eliminate my nicotene problem. Thanks again! I owe ya. |

Welcome back Dave!!!

Really, really good to see you back at home and as feisty as ever!
Glad things worked out but truthfully feel that all of us learned something from this. Joe |
Ah, now that you can type, I gotta read more of your siht? :) I was happy to see your post. Welcome back bud. I am so glad you are doing well and home at last. Great to know they found the problem and fixed it. They put you on meds?
My symptom was just a spinning headache. I normally do not get headaches. They couldn't find anything wrong with me after one week of tests. My doc thinks there maybe a hole in the back of my heart where the clot may have have gone through. I had to swallow a camera awake while they look. that was the worst. Thankfully no hole. I was sent hone after one week in the joint. they think it was stress that may have cause the problem. You get some rest. Great family you have there. |
Welcome back, I guess this is the part where someone says there goes the neighborhood.
|
Welcome back David, now don't do that again!
|
"Sponge baths, Baby!"
OK David. I think maybe they got your meds a wee bit too strong. You're hallucinating. Seriously, it is good to have you back ('though I'm not sure how long that'll last). As for the "Pelican First Responder" tag, all we did was "DOG PILE!" :D All we ask is for you to keep playing music and let us look over your shoulder from time to time when you're working on an old piece (not that kind of an old piece.) Best Les |
