My third book is coming into its final stages - should be done in 2 months. Just got word that J. Wiley wants to sign me for a multiple book deal - 6 volume series with some very nice incentives.

I figuer if I can bang one of two out a year for the next 10 years then just maybe I will be able to retire and not worry about my 401K and other investments showing less than favorable performance...

Volume 7: Establishing and Improving the Reliability Profile

Ahhh yes, but what was your bump in parts sales with each book? Clearly your aim was to empower more folks to DIY more projects...and buy those parts and supplies from their friendly neighborhood pelican-man.

Each volume will list for $195/each. They have committed to printing 3000 for the first editions. J Wiley is really great at selling all they print.

The other two books from J Wiley will go for $145 and $195 - those I have to share royalties with but the one from CRC is selling very well. Its list is much lower - $79, but they have been being bought in lots of ten by agencies and municipalities.

Rememeber - its not the books that make the rain, its the talking! Seminars selling brutha...
