One more accessory and it would be perfect. . . .

Is that a shotgun in the picture, or the top of a car door?

There is something to be said for making a statement with your choice of accessories... however, what this says exactly ???
![]() Obviously they love their little 924, and they wanted to make it their 'own' - even the interior looks tricked out - probably has some interesting I.C.E.... and being in automotive aftermarket myself - people have jobs because of owners like this one. The local chroming guy alone has to be happy... But, those RV mirrors - I would have to say I haven't seen anything quite like them before.

Top of a car door - look at the reflection in the window. It would be a much more interesting photo if it were a shotgun!

Rika - probably you are correct with the peel 'n stick chrome... but someone had to sell it to the owners of this 'customized' porsche.
Money was dropped on this little car - capitalism flourishes - owners are happy...

I thought this was going to be about the 924 that some German guy put a 951S engine in. Could do 179 mph because of the lighter, more aerodynamic body.

Quote:
This was at the mechanic this morning when I dropped off my S8 for its 55k service. The conversation between me and the shop owner regarding the car was interesting. It went like this: Me: what's the story with that 924 there? Shop owner: Oh, that thing. The owner hit a concrete divider and messed up the transmission. It's an automatic, so parts aren't available anymore. I had to custom fabricate parts to repair the damage. Me, stupefied that anyone would actually pay for custom fabricated parts for that car: That's not really what I meant. It looks like something from a carnival ride. Shop owner, kind embarrassed: Oh. I think the owner is from Nigeria.
