Car transporter needed in Canada - WEST to EAST

Urgent, anybody have any suggestions?

I need a car picked up in Manitoba or Ontario and delivered to Montreal.

Anybody know any transporters already on the road that could make this pickup ?

I used Hansen's many years ago with success. Rail is also an option but you have to pickup & drop off to rail centers.

Be prepared for a price shock when you get quotes back.

Winnipeg to Montreal is about 3000 miles (4600 km) round trip. That works out to $250-$300 fuel & 6 days (@$150 a day expenses - hotels/food) on the road. Call it 7 days just to be safe. Then add in the drivers wage for 60 hrs driving time. Gets expensive...why not fly out and drive back?

If it was a good ride(eg. Porsche, Bentley, Rolls, Ferrari) I am sure there are some good drivers out there who would drive it for you for expenses only?

I just remember a while back reading posts of a few transporters on a trip back looking for items to haul back to help cover expenses.

I am waiting for a few replies from shippers tomorrow to get a idea on cost.
