My advise is to learn to make masks. Photoshop elements offers many methods. This is the pen tool; (my personal favorite)

5 minutes. This was quick and dirty, if I'd spent 10, it would look twice as good.

IIRC, you're shooting Nikon (as do I). I really like Nikon | Imaging Products | CaptureNX2. It retains the in-camera settings when you're processing an image and has the Control Point feature, which is outstanding. As mentioned before, do the free trial. I do most of my work in NX2, then do some finishing chores in PS. The Nik plug-in special effects software is awesome and seamless (Nik makes Capture for Nikon).

Thanks for the advice! I completely forgot that I've been using that "Gimp" program and it does work good but it takes for ever specially with borders etc for sure not a 5 minute job
