Most sky lights are normal airplanes. Some lights are hoaxes by people with nothing better to do. Some are meteor(ites).

Then some of them are classified aircraft (the ones out west mainly). The government loves the UFO stories because it helps keep people from digging around for classified aircraft details.

Area 51 started for the A-12 and U-2 programs. Now if the A-12 wasn't the most amazing thing in the world in the early 60's then what was? Random sonic booms, strange lights, oh, it must be aliens.

What you see is old news.

New Mexico has a rich history of alien visitation is the 50s. Roswell, and other incidents are well documented. I think there is truth there and stuff really happened. And since I now live in that area, I can do my own investigation.

It would suck to live on one of the planets that is near the center of the galaxy and you find out you're gonna get sucked into the black hole that's located at the center of the Milky Way.

The math equation you guys are talking about is called the Drake Equation.

Aurel I'm here maybe we can meet next time I'm here which is the week after next?

Good time to go find another planet Earth to colonize. Oops.... seems every galaxy has a massive black hole in the middle. Guess we better prepare for more visitors :D

My GF saw something. She watched it for 10-15 minutes. It came as close as maybe 50 feet or so. She is CERTAIN she saw something and based on her description, based on the facts she described, I'd agree. Plus.....she said she had this pervasive feeling that she was seeing something she shouldn't be seeing.

And there are folks on our little community here who are certain they saw something.

And still I am skeptical. Hundreds or thousands of sightings, and not a single verifiable shred of physical evidence.

Does that mean I have to put out the good hand towels for the powder room?

vas930 01-11-2012 06:12 PM

Why would they want to visit earth?

motion 01-11-2012 06:16 PM

For the white wimmens, nat.

I am a traveler on the inter universe highway.

why do aliens only visit trailer parks in the U.S.? You just don't see them visiting Shanghai or Paris much.

sc_rufctr 01-11-2012 06:58 PM

We are defiantly not alone in this Universe. The problem is distance...
Can anyone truly comprehend thousands of light years away?

We are insignificant. Just a little speck of life in a relatively quiet part of our galaxy.

Where ever they are, hopefully they have 911s there too.

Maybe they just like Schlitz and WWF. Why so critical of their taste?

slakjaw 01-11-2012 07:10 PM

I am not sure if I care if there's other life out there anymore. We can barely land a probe on mars. We will never be able to go say what's up to some alien planet.

red-beard 01-11-2012 07:10 PM

I'm hoping there is some intelligent life out there, 'cause they ain't any here..

It's "... because there isn't any here."
