Ideas on how to store MANY Work gloves?
okay, this may seem like a really silly question, but I own a ton of work gloves in my shop. Dozens and dozens of pairs of gloves.
Thick canvas gloves. Welding long cuff leather gloves. Gardening cotton gloves. Rubber dipped Cotton Gloves Thin raw-hide leather chainsaw use/type nimble car driving/horse riding gloves. Summer Dirtbike riding gloves. Winter ATV gloves. Snow Skiing thick insulated gloves Rubber Chemical Gloves. .........and on and on and on............then add even the wifes glove sizes too, so now you have a medium set and a large/XL set. I've got a huge shop so it's not storage space, it's trying ![]() I used to have an old bedroom dresser in my shop with 2-3 drawers of gloves all lumped in amongst themselves. Of course digging through you'd find 4 right hand gloves and no lefts, or jumbled all together. Recently the old wooden dresser fell apart after 30-40 years of use, so I'm needing new ideas. Maybe something like shoe storage with individual open nooks, or some very small drawers about P.O. Box size that can keep things organized with 24-36 compartments? Maybe a wooden dowel peg board grouping gloved sets? Might be a very gayyy sounding metro-sexual question, but for all the other man-cave wrenching shop/garage/land-owner/ranchers out there, how do you organize your gloves if you own many functionally different numerous pairs? The Martha Stewart in me says thanks. The Tim Allen in me says you can never own too many tools or sets of gloves.

cut ya some 4" pvc pipe into 6" lengths bolt it together like a office mail box area and you will have a slot for each type of glove. If you have alot of the same types maybe go to 6" pipe...

We use a door mounted shoe bag for gloves and hats. These can be had on the cheep at Target or Wallyworld for around $10 and hold 24+ pair

Unless you like that look Cliff, how about cutting slots in your drawer with dividers in them to separate whatever you want to put into those tiny card catalog drawers.

get an old refrigerator, they can be found cheap or free, put a 40 watt bulb in it and store to your heart's content. Also good for welding rods and other things that need to be keep dry.
