I also subscribe to HOT ROD...The most recent issue was an in depth article on the highest horsepower production V-8.

Classic and Sportscar. British mag. Pricey. Awesome articles. This was the first car magazine that caught my eye when I was little. My dad had a copy that I found, and I read that same copy for months.

I have given up complaining to Classic & Sportscar about errors in their articles, as it gets tiresome writing in every month. Never had to complain to Motorsport.

If I were still into "projects" my goal would be to have a car so cool that Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords would want to do a feature on it without a bikini model. ;)

Yes. This magazine created a real lust problem. I loved looking at all the car for sale ads.

Why the heck have magazines gotten so freaken expensive?? Most car mags now are $7.00 ( especially considering most are 75% ads)

yes..i studied those ads. lots and lots of obscure european cars. made for tons of fun research when i was little.

Most of the UK ones are expensive, but they also feature higher quality photography and writing, as well as a larger format and more pages. I think it's worth it. The Evo iPad app is only $5 per issue though.

Yes. Octane is the only one I don't like to miss. They've raised the bar IMO.
