Best way to sell larger auto body parts
I'm looking to sell some stuff thats been in my garage for years and was wondering whats the best way. The main item I have is a rear bumber, bumperettes, lower valance and side rockers with accordians. I thought putting them in the back of Pano might be a start along with Ebay I guess. I can get boxes to ship them and I guess they ship almost anything these days. Any idea what they are worth, or are the bumperettes the only item of value? Thanks.

Cut them into smaller pieces and cook them into a soup, stew or casserole. They'll attract a lot less attention from the authorities that way.

Just toss a few parts in the yard at night, you can get rid of a 300 lb person in a week that way.

Just keep 'em in the freezer, that's what everyone else does.

Is the brain any good? I'd pay dearly for an upgrade.

Bumpers are worth very little, but the accordions in good shape, all the studs there, can bring 25 ea. Nice impact strips sell easily too. The small metal parts also sell. The rear bumper boobies can get good money if very nice. They don't make this stuff anymore that I know of.
Part everything out and dump the bumpers for scrap value. |

Just go to the back door of some restaurants. They will pay top dollar.

what Milt said. bumpers aren't really worth a whole lot, I think I sold a rear SC one for $25 shipped a year or two ago, which ended up being $10 after shipping.

One way is through Grey Hound on a standby basis. They take large parcels on that basis. I sent a fender that way & it worked out very well. Some other people on here have shipped that way also.

![]() maybe if enough people recycle them eventually they'll be worth more as less and less become available ![]() side rockers are worth a bit more, think I sold a pair for $80 local pickup. Took a LONG time for them to sell though, and it was sold on craigslist.

Thanks so far. I guess I was thinking that I almost the entire back lower end intact. Seems someone with some rear damage would be looking for this rather then having to comb for all the parts.

I'm sure they will be worth something eventually, but they were taking up to much space.

Gon fix it with me hammer

You're always gonna have problems lifting a body in one piece. Apparently the best thing to do is cut up a corpse into six pieces and pile it all together.
And when you got your six pieces, you gotta get rid of them, because it's no good leaving it in the deep freeze for your mum to discover, now is it? Then I hear the best thing to do is feed them to pigs. You got to starve the pigs for a few days, then the sight of a chopped-up body will look like curry to a pisshead. You gotta shave the heads of your victims, and pull the teeth out for the sake of the piggies' digestion. You could do this afterwards, of course, but you don't want to go sievin' through pig ****, now do you? They will go through bone like butter. You need at least sixteen pigs to finish the job in one sitting, so be wary of any man who keeps a pig farm. They will go through a body that weighs 200 pounds in about eight minutes. That means that a single pig can consume two pounds of uncooked flesh every minute. Hence the expression, "as greedy as a pig".

Or you can simply find a shop that does chroming work. Acid vats on a friday night after they close will give the entire weekend to handle the need.

Rick, I thought you prefered the wood chipper with the output going right into the river. The turtles and catfish eat the ground up parts.
