You need either tracks or legs. Wheeled pepper-pots simply don't have the all-terrain ability you need:

Wheeled vehicles can only operate on 30% of the Earth’s land surface
50% of the Earth’s land surface for tracked vehicles
Things with legs can access nearly 100% of the land area

I didn't think anything of it at the time, but late last February, when I bought the tires to go on my then newly acquired 964 for my drive back home after purchasing the car near Chicago, I couldn't get them when I needed them from Tire Rack. I had to source the fronts and rears separately from different local distributors. So far. no appreciable snow experience since I bought the tires, but they seem to be wearing well.

Even if you came up with that one instantly, it wasn't that good. But 4 hours later? FAIL...

Serious question: Do you think of yourself as a clever guy?

Jeebuz Crisco! I (unlike some folks that shall remain unmentioned) do not stay on all day and night. I just got on, then off and now on again. Soon I will log off and maybe stay off for awhile, maybe on in a bit, off the grab a snack, then on again to see how I may have irritated a few, amused the less gifted and generally waisted time then off again to kiss the kiddos good night, maybe read a little, throw wifeys leg up for a few minutes, take a shower, have a cup of coffee, write a little, go on-line to waste a little time...

Anyway, lighten up potsy...

Potsy? That was better, actually. Haven't heard that name in a while.

I hope you don't think that I'm on here all day. I've been busier than a whore on payday but I visit this site on the iPhone when I'm stuck in traffic or grabbing a bite, etc...

If you see smileys or other emoticons in my posts, I'm on a computer. Otherwise I'm in line @ the bank or something. Peace out, anyways.

...you want "pissy"....?

Then start a thread with the premise that the vast majority of Porsche 911's are over-priced, under-powered, and just plain over-rated.

And that if one wanted to get a good high-performance car, one should get something like... a new Mustang or Camaro, or even a WRX.
