Shouldn't Lovers be singular?

rouxroux 02-01-2012 05:32 AM

I find it rather odd that he was posing with Ford products. Don't you think he's feel more "at home" in a GM?;)

porsche4life 02-01-2012 05:58 AM

Bet Pauls stang is already for sale....

VINMAN 02-01-2012 06:10 AM

LOL good one Sid :D

Jim Bremner 02-01-2012 07:06 AM

He's most likely thinking on how to prevent peasants from buying them

"While Obama sat in a range of models from Detroit -- including a Chevy Silverado and Corvette ZR1 and the Ford C-Max Energi plug-in hybrid -- he lingered in the 650-hp Mustang, telling a Ford executive "This is what I needed in high school."

A crying shame somebody didn't give him one when he was in high school. A hot car, and a jug of booze. The country might have been better off today.

VINMAN 02-01-2012 08:14 AM

He has good taste in cars. I'll give him credit for that, and that only.

Lame politics aside, the above notion sells a lot of cars to people (mostly men) who attain the means later in life.

Gee, maybe I shoulda bought a 944? LOL! Gotta admit, I still enjoy my "low horsepower" Bullitt model. It did a fine job of carrying Cindy & I to the pool hall & back yesterday. It ran just fine, eating 92 octane no alcohol fuel.

redstrosekNic 02-01-2012 09:54 AM

This is gonna end up in PARF...

Not the right "image" for people here...That said, wow! 650 ponies, 200 mph top end? Just...wow!

I voted for another man both times. I would vote for him if he could run against Zero.

Paul, why do you think I was referring to you? I guess if the shoe fits....

I drive Volvos and Fords, so no, the "image" shoe doesn't fit.
