Shaun, I am the type of guy who will help you out of this jam.

I don't think Dave can fix it.

Sell it to me.

Do it now:)

Good to see you on the bench, Dave. Makes me smile.

Superman 02-08-2012 10:02 AM

That's right. Get back to work, Dave.

targa911S 02-08-2012 10:12 AM

Well guys nobody is happier to be back on the bench than I ...that's for sure. Besides I bought yet another bass, soooo back to work I go.

Up next two nice SXS's from Henry.

vash 02-08-2012 10:41 AM

glad you are feeling much better!

HHI944 02-08-2012 10:46 AM

Are you just doing a general going through and clean up or is there something in particular that needs done?

Nope, nothing special. Just a good deep cleaning, touch up the bluing, fix the wood kind of job.

Joeaksa 02-08-2012 11:37 AM

Will be getting you a package out by weeks end or so...

Good to see you back in the saddle!

targa911S 02-08-2012 11:41 AM

Hey Joe when are sending me the rest of that muzzle loader?

on2wheels52 02-08-2012 03:03 PM

Dave, what is the trick to get the screw for the forend started on lever Marlins and Winchesters? I've quit taking them out and not doing the cleaning underneath. Too easy to strip that long little @#$%&* screw.
Jim

So, what does a service like that run?
I've got a 94 that could use a going through.

yes they are a biotch. Use a small drift to make sure it's all lined up and a lot of patience. believe it is an 8-64 thread if you botch it.

I was wondering how long you were going to milk it . Glad to see you feelin' good and back to work. I would still like to catch lunch with you one of these days. Still not smoking?

I have not had a smoke since the day I went to the ER. I feel really good. Throat is still numb but every day is better than the last. Good to be back. Your lunch marker is always good.

azasadny 02-08-2012 05:06 PM

When my mother had her carotids done, her throat was sore and her voice was raspy for more than 6 months. One day, she woke up and her voice was back and no more soreness...

Mericet 02-08-2012 05:09 PM

Good to see you hard at work again!

pete3799 02-08-2012 05:44 PM
