Done stroking, now it's back to work..
Shaun was the next on my bench with a quick clean repair job on his Marlin lever gun...so far here is where it's at..

found some demon rust under the fore end on the magazine tube...easy fix..

Well guys nobody is happier to be back on the bench than I ...that's for sure. Besides I bought yet another bass, soooo back to work I go.

Dave, what is the trick to get the screw for the forend started on lever Marlins and Winchesters? I've quit taking them out and not doing the cleaning underneath. Too easy to strip that long little @#$%&* screw.

Hey Shaun, as before the pics here are a day behind, I'm off to cleveland (sons b-day) tomorrow but I will post todays work tomorrow night. I covered a lot of ground today. It looks good.
