I joined after about a year after I bought the old E, thus my user name. I had been lurking all that time but had a question about dash knobs and my first post I believe was looking for information about them.
The car has moved to another owner (who might be a new Pelican as well), but you're still stuck with me. Pelican was indispensable to me through the time of ownership. I was able to re-index the rear T bars to get the ride height corrected, get the sunroof working and install pressure-fed tensioners (bought from a fellow Pelican, gasket set from our Host). Oil changes were a no-mess proposition, thanks to tips garnered here. Thank you. Les

November 2004, apparently. Shortly after I brought the dead 924S I bought back to life. I was dealing with faulty speed / reference sensors and a bad DME at the same time. Very frustrating...
These days I read far more than I post, and normally just cruise OT.

If I only had his money. In his day he was bigger than Leno and Seinfeld together.

11-20-2002. Two 911 projects later I find myself wondering what the heck I was thinking. Did I have some fun and learn a bunch? Oh yeah! Did I meet great people? A few. Were the long hours, stress, financial pressure, etc. worth it? I guess but not sure
I sure enjoy the reliability, economy, practicality, and fun of a hot hatch now though. I still love old 911s. I just don't know if I would ever do another resto-hot rod 911. Maybe if my financial situation changes dramatically! So why do I still post here occasionally and lurk about? I guess I have become accustom to the sensory inputs of this place (to loosely quote "Data"). Man, what a nerd I am! Troy
