Just a nice guy!

I debated where to put this and ended up here.

I have been buying carburetors and misc. parts from Richard Parr (PMO) for approx. 20 years. No matter what the size of the order, he has called me each time to discuss each order before shipping.
Yesterday, I placed an order for the grand sum of $40.00. Sure enough, he calls me and we discuss my pidly order. Then we get off on a whole other conversation about the characteristics of air and freight companies.
I realize there are other suppliers in this induction market that are equally interested in our carb concerns, but i thought that after all these years, I owe it to Richard to pipe up and thank him publicly.

Don't know the guy personally, but I've heard about PMO for years upon years. I guess the fellow basically rescued the concept of the Weber carburetor.

So, I suppose you are saying he doesn't do computers? In that case fax the man.

he doesn't want non-customers taking up enormous amounts of his time to get advice and not buying anything

any of you who have been there know what he is talking about

he is very prompt in returning calls; nice; and he improved many aspects of a near perfect design by Weber - hard to argue with that
