Not stressing, just frustrated and pissed about this stupid package.

I don't know what it is and I'm pissed that I need to expend energy for something that I did not initiate.

So fugghedaboudit. If it shows, it shows. If it doesn't, big whoop.

In the meantime, just remind your kids to stay safe.

Gogar 02-22-2012 05:59 PM

I suggest you play it safe and just shoot through the door.

rusnak 02-22-2012 06:25 PM

I thought we were going to have a surprise party. Where's the frikken cake?

homer944 02-22-2012 06:27 PM

Luckily it wont be the IRS. They use the almost bankrupt postal service to send you audits.

When I was in elementary school I would leave school every day to go home and have lunch.

Starting at 14-15 years old I used to get on planes by myself and fly to Germany.

There was never an issue hoping a train from Stuttgart to Innsbruck or Zermatt to go skiing for a few days without my parents.

But now I need to worry about my kid being home for 30 minutes by herself in an upscale community.

Really sad commentary on the times.

It's my opinion that one day mankind will wipe itself off the planet because of their collective stupidity.

Getting back to the thread.....good job to reinforce home safety procedure with your daughter. Shouldn't they be teaching this at school as well....along with showing Signal 30 movies in Driver's Ed? Rhetorical question....no need to answer.

I had my other friend Charlie over, he's Secret Service, we discussed logistics and shooting thru the door is a definite no go. My front door is iron with a hinged tempered glass center but on the outside of the glass there is wrought iron scroll work so Charlie is afraid of a ricochet.

What Charlie suggested is he will take up a sniper position in Dennis's bushes across the street. I made up a qwik n dirty ghillie suit and will take a position in the flower bed at the top of the walk and right outside my foyer.

The foyer makes the perfect kill box. When the alleged "deliveryman" shows up and rings the bell I'm going to monkey roll out and go low while charlie tries for a head shot.

It's a solid plan.

We need video.. course so will the police and courts...

What about the cauldron of boiling oil? Death from above? Or the hidden spikey thing through the head like at the beginning of Indiana Jones?

Now that you mention it we should have had some murder holes added when we built the house.

No moat, too frikkin hot in the summer. It'd dry up in a day. However I do have a pit full of Scorpions, Black Widows and Copper Heads surrounding the house.

And the door tracking number left yesterday is still not in the system as of this morning.

Whatever is in this package better be good.

I know it's late for Christmas, but you don't happen to know Justin Timberlake, do you?

I say you should dress up in your very own FedEx outfit, then when the delivery guy shows up you tell him "I'm working this house" and "Get off my turf".

Normy can fill you in on the appropriate FedEx "Gang Signs" to use during the confrontation.

Flieger 02-23-2012 09:13 AM

I am loving this thread. So much entertainment. :)

Well FedEx was just here.

A few weeks ago the wife bought hanging fixtures for the entrance hall to our media room.

One of the glass bowls had a minor crack so she called the manufacturer who sent out a complete new fixture.

Apparently they want the damaged one back.

Would have been nice if they had let us know that they had scheduled A PICK UP!

I may actually have taken the damaged one down and had it ready for A PICK UP!

In fact I would have left it at the front door for them TO PICK UP!

Did you at least wing the guy when he came to the door? Or perhaps an arrow to the knee?
