Who is using VoIP and how do you like it?

In my never ending quest to run everything off a high speed Internet connection.

I think I have settled on Boxee for movies/TV/video (until someone points me to another shiny box that promises me more).

Now to dump the phone line... I am aware of 'magic jack' and 'Vontage'. What other players are there in this game and how do they stack up?

Note that I have yet to find a cell phone that equals the sound quality of my land line therefore I still cling to my big old analog phone with it's sweet fat sound (despite my wife pleading with me to dump the land line to save $$$).

Which begs the question... Do the VoIP phones have the same sound quality as a regular land line?

I use Ooma for VoIP. My monthly cost is $3.47. Quality and service have been solid and it integrates with google voice.

There is a woot-off going on and they regularly throw the Ooma up.

We use Vonage. Nettalk 50% of my devices died in less than a year.

We didn't get it yet. I think you have to remain a customer for 60 days before we get the credit. Glad to hear it is working out for you. Thanks again!

Use magic jack, just a cheap way to keep an state-side number. It's ok, but dependent on how well your computer is running, speed of internet connection, etc. It's just ok.
