SC's are loud, inefficient by comparision. Porsche enthusiasts like refined, quiet power (for the most part).

Plenty of people out there who like the looks of the car & don't necessarily care for the extra power. Besides, 911 air cooled engines sound better in NA mode than turbocharged.

Not all blowers are loud...very little, if any "whine" with this one...I've heard 'em.
You don't know it's there until you are "blown off"..;)

Careful TABS, your jealousy is shining through.

Why in the world would I be jealous of someone who has a 930 Tuuuuurbooo? When I have one of the BEST Porsche's EVER built a 69 911S....

Don't U know that God and Ferry Porsche RESTED in 1974....and anything built after 1973 is well just a parody of itself...overwrought, overblown and over priced...luxo mobiles masquerading as Sports Cars....

You might want to think about that. Drive one of those that are tricked, say around 450hp. with the turbo coming on at 2500rpm and a lower pinion or a re-gear box is a heck of a lot of fun then a 3.6, I think. Still, you get a bit of the on, off switch but not so much as the older ones or stock.

not for a seattle DD.
