The sales vehicle thread got me thinking about the image you project...

Jay Janssen is our local top-dog ambulance chaser. He literally has hundreds of commercials running a day on local TV stations. They always show him sitting on his (several acre) manicured lawn with his two purebred afghans or sitting in his gold and marble office with a huge painting of himself hanging over the mantle. He clearly projects an image of excess. Late nights he hosts a half-hour long faux-talk show format infomercial about how you are entitled to lifetime work comp benefits for a bruised pinky.

I guess I look at the commercials and think to myself: "This guy is probably taking his clients for 40% or more!" I guess that isn't what other people think becuase he has so much money to blow.

Our top advertising ambulance chasing PI law firm is called Lerner and Rowe and, while they don't show off any excesses in their billboard signs or tv commercials, they scream out slippery, sleazy $$ grubbing ambulance chasers. Their slogan is "In a wreck? Need a check?" One of them had a cheesy goutee and the other a very heavy Boston accent and used car salesman smile. Gives me the creeps.

Those guys and their billboards are ALL OVER the place in Vegas. I enjoy seeing them try to top each other.
