You need to bribe me:D

One thing to consider, have a cigar roller there, he can roll em right there and it is fun to watch.. Depending on the location, I can help you with one..

Has she ever smoked one with you? I have only smoked a cigar once or twice by myself... and I liked the more fruity, buttery, vanilla ones. Well, I am a gal so what would you expect?

The other times, I like to split a cigar with the man I am with... if he is into cigars. Taking a couple of puffs while sipping on a drink. Relaxing. Maybe if she tried smoking with you she would like it? Just a suggestion... I rarely smoke cigars but it can be relaxing and fun to do it with your man.

And I know I hate the smell of cigar smoke... except when I am the one smoking it.

See if your local store carries the Mooch by Berger & Argenti. It is one of the most flavorful mild cigars we carry. Inexpensive and hard to keep in stock, our customers love them.

Dominican Cohibas are not Cohibas. If ever there was a case of "paying for a name", this is it.

I enjoy many different brands, but I usually stock one humidor with Roly's. Cuban Bolivar's are a personal favorite...like smoking velvet. I have found a plethora of Dominicans that are very, very good. La Flor Dominicanas are a great knock around smoke also. I buy from Cigars International, Thompson Cigars, Phatash.com. Of course I am fortunate enough to have a cigar company in nearby Rochester, that make outstanding cigars, even will make custom blends.

Any comments on El Sol cigars? I recall their Sampatico (Cuban -style) and Parejos (Nicaraguan Primeros in a Sumatra wrapper) with pleasant memories.

When I used to go to the Tampa area on a regular basis, the cigar tradition of the Ybor City area was a treat.

Will be tough to find a real one in the states, but they are my absolute favorite.

Same here. My favourite and enjoy them everytime I am out of the country.

I always thought that the BIGGER and the BLACKER the Cigar the BETTER....I can just imagine chewing on them till the Black juice dribbles down you chin....

Honestly, i've had quite a few Cubans and few are as good as the Avo le line or the la flor dominicana factory press line. The cubana qc has really gotten lax in the last decade.

Just an update: I just ran across a smoking good deal for La Aurora cigars below.

Holt's Cigar Company - Everything Cigars Since 1898!

Sounds like the OP is looking for a box of Monte Cristo whites...

HHI944 03-11-2012 08:24 PM

A nice La Flor Oscuro Claro would do the trick.
LFD really makes a great product, I got my hands on a few of the first series of factory press....simply amazing.
