If I want something done right...
Apparently I have to do it myself. At work we're co-opting content creation with a SEM/PPC/Ad company. I was brought in as 'consult' on this project with 2 of our key developers/creatives. I voted to provide direct access to our system for this partnership while the 2 others voted not. Our deadline is next Tuesday. Even though I've got 'ownership' of the project the work is being completed by the 2 that voted to do it in-house - both of which are no-where near completing the project if we intend to hit that deadline.
So now I'm faced with the conundrum: Do I let the project go incomplete by Tuesday and take the hit on this relationship -- or do I finish the project out myself and hopefully we keep this relationship going with this new company? One option lets the 2 others take responsibility for their in-action and sours this deal -- the other option will just insulate them but will 95% let us hit our deadline and keep things peachy until we get them direct access. I'm leaning towards option 2...

Thanks gwn7, a much-needed laugh.
I was just venting about a work project. Basically we're using one of our newest products to build out a few dozen landing pages for a client (large $$$ group) with a new partner company. The idea was to have them build out the content for this client of ours. Two of the other members on this project voted to do it in-house instead of providing access to our new partner. I voted to give our partner direct access. Now the 2 guys that were going to do the work are AWOL and our client hasn't heard anything in 2 days. Basically I'm left here as the responsible party. Basically I've got to finish out the project (a 3 person job) by my lonesome. I don't see the other 2 guys as getting their annual bonus after these shenanigans.
