Scammer: "I am going to attempt to log on to your computer now. Do you see a window popping up asking for permission?"

Me: "Yes, I see the window.....oh no! It just disappeared. Can you try again?"

Scammer: "Okay do you see the window now?"

Me: "It just popped up......and it went away again."

Scammer: "Okay. I'm going to try again..."

At some point, they suddenly hang up on me.

I tip my hat to you sir!

I follow along on my Linux machine. My record for keeping them tied up is 45 minutes but I had to leave and pick my daughter up from school....

Had the guy trying hard to figure out how to see if his process was running, I'm reading the output of ps to him, I ask if I should be worried if there are zombie processes 'cause I don't want my brain eaten.... Had him going on thinking his domain name was bad and I couldn't get his file. Then I got it working in a browser - I used lynx or links or elinks or links2 (not sure what was installed to satisfy the dependency) so pure 1993 text only mode, so his browser exploits didn't work....

I think they've blacklisted my number ....
