Best Burger....Ever
Friday I went out to lunch with coworkers to a local brewery/restaurant called Destihl. I've been there many times, but decided to try something new. There are kind of an upscale casual place. They have a chef.
Anyway, I ordered their American Wagyu burger, minus the bleu cheese (not my thing), medium rare, with a glass of stout. I'm still thinking about this burger a day later. Sooooooooooo good. Best $12.95 I've ever spent. I swear it was a whole pound of beef. I'm never one to leave food behind, but I didn't touch my fries. There was just no way they could have possibly lived up to the rest of the meal.

I like Red Robin's Royal Burger. It is topped with a fried egg. It is wonderful!

Till they got rid of the Monster Burger. I won't go back. Even if I request the "original" Monster Burger, they bring out some fake facsimile and call it a Monster Burger. Nothing like the old one.

When I ate beef, I used to really like some avocado slices on the sandwich, really brought out the flavor of the beef!

There are many things in this world I will never do, paying $13 for a burger is near the top of that list.

If you like hockey pucks. If their beef is so good, why do they refuse to cook them anything below well done?
Their fries are great, though.

There is a place near me that serves great burgers...and they are cheap!!
All-American Or you can hit up Old Homestead and get a Kobe burger for $41 ![]() Or a Filet Mignon burger for $27 ( though Filet is to lean for a good burger) Old Homestead Five guys is good... A Smash Burger opened here recently.... ok...... Bobby Flay opened a burger joint here.... again ..."OK" There is Fatburger nearby... and it is...just "ok" I'd go out of my way to go to All-American rather than go to one of those trendy chains... ![]()
