Just when we thought the weirdness had maxed out here it comes:

SAN DIEGO — A man wearing purple tights and a tutu with his genitals exposed was arrested early Wednesday on suspicion of burglarizing an Allied Gardens church.

Police were called to the Palisades Presbyterian Church on Birchwood Street off Orcutt Avenue about 4 a.m. after someone noticed suspicious activity, San Diego police said.’

Officers formed a perimeter around the property and quickly located the man who was taken into custody.

A white pickup loaded with electronics, musical instruments and other items taken from the church was found parked on the street nearby, police said.

The suspect, whose name and age were not released, was also wearing a white T-shirt, police said.
