Get off my lawn!
|
20 Years ago today!
I got married to a wonderful woman.
We are celebrating 20 great years of marriage tonight. We will go to the same great restaurant where we had our first date. We eat there on every anniversary. I dated a lot of (Ms. WRONG) ladies looking for Ms. Right. It took a long time to find my wife. Getting married to her is the best thing I have ever done. She can put up with a long road trip in my 911. We have been to both coasts & over 20 national parks and this year we are driving to Salt Lake City. She loves F1! I get to watch the race in the living room on the big TV with surround sound. We will be watching this weekend! She never even asks what my car hobby costs. I rebuilt the entire suspension on the 911 and never a question about price. She saw the big pile of parts but never questioned the price or the need. I love her dearly.

Thanks guys.
It is sometimes scary how similarly we think. We eat out every Friday night. We rotate through probably 20 or 25 places. On many occasions I will write down the name of a place and put that in my pocket. Sometimes it is a place that we have not been to in a long time. I ask what she is hungry for and she will name the place that I wrote down. That happens with a lot of things.

The old Pearl's. Cheaspeake bought that property and built them the fancy new building down the street on Classen. It is a lot nicer now. Same food as before.

Glenn, happy anniversary to you and your equally lovely sounding wife. I loved reading your love story and how you continue to be in awe by her as I am sure she is with you. That is exactly why you and her have lasted 20 years. A feat most people can't even come close to. May you and your lovely bride have a magical evening as if it was the first date. But then again, it doesn't sound like I need to say that.
hugs!
