Cats walk all over car with auto tran. fluid on paws!

Hello .
I have a 2 car garage that holds my Porsche and a winter beater taurus wagon.
The damn ford has been slowly leaking auto transmission fluid for a little while.

Sort of like a slurpee with a nail in and then out of it. This happened after some idiot towed it.

Anyway, there's a bit of red soup on the floor of the garage.

A couple of fellas came over this week to change the windows and I had to find a place for these animals so that when these fellas go in and out of the house the cats won't take off and then my Son would really have to go to therapy for depression.

7 hours later I went in the garage to collect them.
All could notice was, 100's of footprints of these damn cats fingerprinted by the Tranny Oil.

It is a very thin film. No puddling whatsoever.
What is the best way to remove without my car ending up it was on some sort of African lion safari!?

ATF shouldn't hurt your finish. Just wipe it off with a soft microfiber towel, then wash it like you would normally.

Thankyou.

Now I feel bad with the cats walking with a limp.

Well hardly, when you think about the other vehicle- I guess they liked the p car better because it was next to the window.

And is it really worth it to some cats-TO- piss of the owner.

SHOULD OF HUNG A DEAD SEAGULL ON THE REARVIEW MIRROR OF THE TAURuS.
Silly me....and damn cats!

I swear one day I will attach ballbearings to their feet and put them on a hardwood floor.

+1

The trans fluid needs no special attention. I'd just wash the car with car soap.

of course, if you wanted to do a full color change, and your insurance policy covers this event, then...

I hope you guys are just kidding. You'd seriously injure/kill/maim someone's pet over a few paw prints on a car?

Did you ever stop to think that it was YOU who didn't fix the leaky car and YOU who stuck the cats in there? And still you blame them for just wandering around and prowling/jumping on stuff? That's what they do! You expected them to just sit in the corner the whole time?

Geez...

To me it sounds like an opportunity to repaint the car in a different color. The new paint won't stick to the paw print areas and they'll show in the original color, giving you a cool/custom job! Go for it!

we had a cat that used to throw up on the roof of my 911. Never on any other car or anywhere else. Man that used to piss me off. My wife thought it was hilarious.

Cat is dead now (not by me, it lived to be 19). Why is it that the pets you don't care for seem to live forever??

Nothing worse than a cat in the garage. And I like cats.

They seem to garner an alternate personality once inside. One male cat I had years ago — well, my wife had, and he didn't like me much — loved to spray the lower drawer of my roll away. It still bears the signs of the damage. So does my tombstone welder.

I had a cat that did this same thing and will never have another because of this experience.

"Blook Blook Blook Blook"

The worst is coming out to your just-recently-washed-and-detailed car and finding that the neighborhood cat has sprayed your wheels. That ish drove me bat-sht crazy. Same thing when I got on the bike one day and rode to work. The exhaust and rear cylinder got warm and it was *sniff sniff* "what's that... oh geeze." The smell of burning cat pee/spray was so strong, I went home, showered, washed my clothes and took my car to work instead. Ugh, just thinking about the smell makes me want to yakk.

My cat regularly parks herself on my Targa top. Fortunately she doesn't sharpen her claws on it. Jeff(POP), lighten up, I'm pretty sure they were joking.
