Employees score!
When our company vehicle went off lease last October I told the employees who use the company vehicle to tell me what they wanted and I'd get it. I was anxious to get company cars and quit using our personal cars - especially mine. They went back and forth between a crossover and a mini van and an extended cab pickup. Nothing suited their needs perfectly and they couldn't make up their minds. I figured they would never get off their butts and I was going to take matters into my own hands as soon as I got time. Good thing I've been busy.
I came back from a trip (in my Murano) and they had purchased not one, but two vehicles. A vendor was having some trouble and let them have his 2011 Silverado w/22,000 miles and 2011 HHR with 31,000 miles for $20,000 for the pair! Here's the truck.

Congrats Pat! Can't go wrong there, and they have 100K mile powertrain warranties. If they don't work out as intended, you can likely make money selling them to get something else.

Thank you for your earlier help on this. Issues with my parents and employees kept me from taking action back when we were talking. It worked out for the best though. I like driving both of them, and $20k for the pair is a darn good deal.
