Comedic movies from the past reccommended for young Son.

My son an I love watching funny movies like everyone else.
Unfortunately we have almost run out.
Can you please recommend some funnies other than the Adam Sandler Type.
Which sucks balls according to my Son.
I won't even say a word about that being.

Um, Max. James Bond is not comedy. Even the older stuff. Sorry.

Come on, you don't laugh at the "special effects"? You can't say Pussy Galore with a straight face.

Austin Powers then.

Spinal Tap

Wait: Can these be movies that have lots of funny stuff in them but have a story line that is not just for comedy or else what is a "comedic" movie?

I am a really big James Bond fan. I understand where you are coming from. I loved Miami Vice when it was on TV and revisiting it now, shows "hokey" in the early episodes, but I still wouldn't call it comedy.

Austin Powers, now that is comedy.

OK, I have a hard time differentiating between comedic movies and movies with funny stuff in them.

Leslie Nielsen did a lot of funny movies (including Airplane). Look him up.

Don't forget BMX too. I'm still interested in that Redline 500 series frame you had.

John Candy movies? Planes Trains and Automobiles, Uncle Buck, Summer Rental, Space Balls.

How young? Is he old enough for Stripes yet?

How about movies with Gene Wilder and/or Richard Pryor. I seem to remember they had a bunch of young person friendly comedies back in the day.
