I understand that if your 4-way blinkers are on it's OK.

Most "Red Zones" are on private property and the property owner has to complain to the police before they can ticket/tow a vehicle.

In California, red curb means no parking, no stopping, no waiting, whether or not the car is attended. The fact that some of you may be "cool" with a brief stop at a red curb does not make it right, nor legal.

Thats ones of the things I miss most about not being fire Chief any more.

The top spots were supermarkets, bagel stores and the worst was dry cleaners.

Id come across a car, parked in one, I'd hit the siren, give them a minute to move it. If not they got a ticket.
I remember one time, we had a call in Shop Rite for a smoke condition. I pulled up in my chief's vehicle, and a woman was getting out of her car which she left in the fire zone in front of the store. I hit the siren, as she was getting out, She waves to me and says "I just have to run in and grab something." Wrong thing to say to me. When my trucks pulled up, I had them block her in. For about an hour that we were there. She was jumping up and down, screaming, that she was gonna call the mayor. I told her if she wants, id call him right now if she wanted me to.

Funny, I attribute this behavior to axehole conservatives who think government is too big and passes too many laws.

Of course he's driving the ubiquitous silver Prius with USC license plate frame, so it's ok, right?

I ask the guy why he thinks it's ok to be parking in the red zone, blocking the cross walk. I am told to F off as if I am the one in the wrong.

Go figure.

Why do you believe this is "entitlement?" Breaking the law is not specific to one age group, class of people, or type of car driven.
Are you trying to appear cool by using the word for something that will get your PARF friends in another state of frenzied condemnation?
Sometimes I visualize some of you as little babies sitting in high chairs with a pacifier in your mouth screaming and crying over something you think is unfair but has so little consequence to the rest of existence.
