" But the kind where you sit in the lotus position for 30 minutes and try to think of “no-mind”. i.e. “American meditation”. Does that really help you deal with life? Be honest. "

I'm not sure what he is referring to with 'American' meditation, but yes, meditation is very important to me. Lots of other people as well. Sorry to be such a kill joy

I'm sure not all parts of his routine are funny to everybody. I don't meditate so I can't relate to that but the milkshake and wine thing got me to laughing. I'd sure rather have a good chocolate milkshake over wine anyday. I just never thought of it that way before. And yes, I do consume my share of intoxicants.

Sort of funny, but also sounded a bit like an idiot.

He has some good points.

As far as meditation, I tried it several times. I just fall asleep when I sit still and try to think of nothing. Meditation just does not work for me.

That writer has not taken a good vacation driving a 911 Carrera. Driving across parts of America and seeing the some of the amazing national parks is just great. I have seen over 20 national parks and plan to see more.

He may be, he had some other articles listed but I didn't have time to check them out to see if he's an idiot or has a quirky sense of humor.
