The two posts prior to Craigster's really suck.
Sid, grow up. Webb, act your age not your shoe size.
This wasn't a thread for insults.

My post was made in fun because I always used to crack up that someone would always post "Wait, you sold the S?" everytime he would go on one of his Mustang vs. "911 that I wanted to get away from the scavengers" sermons. Paul's a good guy, he just very passionate about his hobbies, whether it was a pristine "S" that he used to own or Mustangs or pool cues. I think we all can admit to being a bit "obsessive" at times.

dafischer 04-02-2012 06:12 PM

No explanation needed. That wasn't aimed at you, but the two Juveniles who posted prior to you.

Hey, my post was in jest, unlike some of his very pointed attacks on me and my choice of vehicle.

Honestly, I wish the man no ill, he could be a very great guy at times, and he had some cool stories. However his incessant trolling got under my skin, badly and I wasn't afraid to tell him that....

One of the last threads (if not the last)was nasty if I remember correctly. I bet he is on vacation from here at least. Hope all is well Paul!

Now are we all in need of some Mustang gabber?;)

Nope.

My post was made in fun, duhfischer

Get a life

Adam 04-02-2012 07:41 PM

Hope all's well for Paul and to see him back here soon.

I've communicated with Paul recently, he's just taking a vacation from the asylum for awhile.

That's good to hear. He always seemed like a good dude that got a little too passionate about his choice in cars.:) Sometimes breaks from here are good, I've taken a few of them over the years. I'm glad to hear that he is well, that was my primary concern.

I take them from time to time as well... sometimes you forget how fun life can be until you step away from the keyboard. :D

Never met Paul, he lives south of me a bit, but I bet if we met face to face, there would be common ground. He likes and knows cars.

(But, jeez, that mustang crap he uses to get under peoples' skin got old a long time ago)

Zeke 04-03-2012 07:51 AM

Paul seemed to love the attention. This thread is all he needs to come back.

Way to go, guys.

I found a cure for this dilemma. I let my 17 year-old daughter drive the GT. Within two weeks she had totaled it (she's fine). Problem solved.

I hope Paul's okay - the world needs all the cranky old farts it can muster.

Porsche-O-Phile 04-03-2012 09:17 AM

Also hope he's doing okay. He's a good guy and I can appreciate his passion, although the whole anti-P-car vitroil got pretty tiresome. Rustangs can be fun (I used to own one, but haven't in years - see sig). Different strokes (and bores) for different folks.

If he just stuck to being positive instead of the whole "you guys all suck and are stupid/unelightened like I am" attitude, the whole place would be 100x better for him being here. He made a choice for what worked for him. Good on him. No problem. Now don't expect it to work for everyone else.

Anyway hope he's well.

speeder 04-03-2012 09:40 AM

I didn't say that I missed him, only that I hope he's well. :)

vash 04-03-2012 09:45 AM

i dont think he is coming back. he emailed me a formal goodbye IIRC.

i do love that car he sold. the one he bought, not so much. one day i hope to shoot some pool with him. hope i kick his butt with a house stick, but i doubt it. i'm rusty.

It does seem that he's burned some bridges.

Yeah, but what shoes were YOU wearing? ? ? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...eys/tongue.gif

Based on Webb's post, I'm thinking his shoe size is 10.5, with a 7-inch heel and hot red patent leather. Closed toe.

(RWebb did say he was also in attendance at the lesbian choral recital and country music wine & cheese fest. So I'm assuming he and pwd found some common ground.)

Just sayin' ;) Oh, and NTTAWWD.
