Anyone Talked to Paul (pwd72s)?

Anyone talked to Paul? His last visit shows as 3/9, that's a bit uncommon for a guy with over 30k posts. He's posted in the past about his issues with diabetes, so I'm hopeful he's just off playing pool somewhere or maybe on a long road trip in his Mustang.;)

speeder 04-02-2012 11:05 AM

Yeah, I noticed his absence as well. Hope everything is OK.

azasadny 04-02-2012 12:09 PM

I hope Paul is OK, he's a good guy!!!

Like wise, I have not been around a whole lot as of late, but just last night, I was reading that thread where the guys two 911's were broke down, and he had a rental mustang. I was surprised to see Paul not appear. I hope we did not run him off, and hope he is o.k. I don't want to have to go and actually seek out Mustang info

I haven't missed the mustang posts, but I do hope Paul is well. I know he has had some health troubles...

Zeke 04-02-2012 12:51 PM

He seems to be a member of more than one Mustang forum. I saw one where his last activity was 3/29.

Maybe he has put you all on his Ignore list...

I like Paul, and he's a fellow pool shooter, but to be honest, the incessant Mustang crap really drags down the forum. We could really use a lot less of trollish behavior here.

+1 He needed a break from here. His anti Porsche, Mustang #1 crap got really old.

I drive a Porsche, but recently acquired a Mustang GT for track work. It required heavy mods to the suspension, but the sheet metal and parts are hell of a lot cheaper than anything Porsche. The Mustang puts a grin on my face just like Porsche - except I'm not afraid to scratch it.

I'll give a report after my first track day with the Mustang this weekend. In the meantime, should I be having a holy war in my head for owning both?

sammyg2 04-02-2012 03:05 PM

Rumor has it that Paul was recently spotted driving a well-set-up 944 .................. ;)

No, you're not the only one here to have a Mustang. Just go with the flow. That's something Paul could not seem to do.

Paul is very compulsive. You're probably doing just fine.

Loomis,
The problem wasn't with the Mustang, it was with Paul.

First out-loud laugh of the day.

I spoke to Paul at the lesbian choral recital and country music wine & cheese fest just yesterday. He is doing fine and getting around well on his 9 inch spike heels. He did crash the Mustang but was able to save the motor, and has purchased a 924, for the swap. He is a little too obsessed with using some fancy pool cut to get the 924 suspension set up just right, so the project is taking a long time.

porsche4life 04-02-2012 04:43 PM

He's probably chilling out under a bridge on a cobblestone trails somewhere....

craigster59 04-02-2012 05:51 PM

Wait....am I understanding you guys right. He sold the 72 911s?
