Careful Dottore, don't want to just give away a winner like that!

Cheers Richard

Seriously. That is a winner. I've been calling my old mum 3 times per day for a while to tell her when to take her meds.

I've got too many other things on the go - but someone should exploit that!

School bus alarm clock. Tells me when the bus will be here, in the am and pm. nice to know if the bus is on time when its raining or cold out.

Friend of mine just last week, a mom, wanted this app built.

this is being developed as part of a larger tablet-based system. there is real money in this one as larger application.

Dottore, that really is good. Really good.
Hey krichard, I've got an idea for a niche medical app for docs. Simple and searched and searched and it isn't available.

You're welcome.

Great idea!

A few years ago I did some work for a company working on a smartphone/RFID tag based system. The market and applications for this kind of thing are immense. Simply taking the correct medication at the correct time would save an enormous amount of money for healthcare providers.
Unfortunately the owner was a fool and would not proceed with clinical trials, which would have given us a green light with the HMOs.
I'm sure there are systems out there by now.

My son takes a couple of things twice a day.

We simply set a daily recurring alarm on our phones.

Now the problem with your app idea and my solution are the same.

Technology can't fix human behaviour failings.

If they can't remember to take their pills it's unlikely they'll remember to charge their device.

You fix that by making the app an actual service that calls.

You can be very rich......Develop an app to predict the Wife's MOOD as you pass the last open bar on your way home?

Talking to my child, and her friends, young kids.
Their idea for a cool app might be,
A coo coo clock ,maybe you can work that in with the MEDS

And their other idea is WHATS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD
An app that show a picture in relationship to where they are.
You know if you dig a hole you can get to China.
...anyways back to digging
