I'm wore out

Got up today and put on a new set of wheels and tires on the Suburban. then decided it needed a bath. Then decided the paint needed attention so I clay barred it then waxed it. Wife came home in the new truck..so I washed it and put a second coat of wax on it. Gettin old sucks, I am exhausted. That is all....

Yes my wife works hard like that but in the house. I don't even try and compete. I get tired watching her.

I've decided that I have to do things a little at a time. I hate it but geez I'm shot at the end of a day of working around the house or a project on the cars.

I feel your pain.

Installed a sound window in my own home today. One layer of 1/4" laminated glass and one layer of 3/16ths annealed float picture window (no removable panels). That little 2.5 x 4.0 beotch was heavy. Half a vicodin and half a glass of bourbon and I'll be better.

I did the stress test yesterday. Mr. Crohns started acting up on the way there....oh well....
Did the 3 minute walk, did the 3 minute fast walk, doing the 3 minute run and my shoe came untied.....the wheels gave up bout 2 minutes in. Gotta get to work on the wheels if the Doc gives me an OK.

Snowmobiled 60 miles. Grooming is done for the season, so standing up over the bumps. Hillclimbing, getting stuck and boondocking thru the trees. Drive back to town and we all stop for a few drinks. Slept like a baby.

I spent the whole day laying pavers to redo the patio that was the previous owner had totally messed up. At least, the pavers were already here, but I am still tired ...

My wife and I would categorize your day of doing the patio and how u felt after = tired. The day after you feel fatigue. Yes I know my wife and I whine a lot but try to keep it to ourselves. If I was 21 again I would be dangerous. Now .....well I am very content.
