badly pulled groin, what do?

I'll even put up with snarky comments to get good advice. Can't squeeze my knees together at all. Intense pain when i try. Motrin and 30 minutes of ice every 3 hours. Any thing else I should be doing? I can walk slowly and climb stairs. Any sideways leg movement, fuhgedabowtit.

So I guess mountain biking with a 19 year old model is out?

No advice beyond rest and ice. How did you do it?

Yeah, my wife says iwouldnt survive that.

Double spinning back kick in Tae Kwon Do last night. It was sore from 3 weeks ago, felt a little pop and it was all over.

Rub some dirt on it...

If you felt an actual pop, hit the Dr. Pops usually indicate tears in something.

Vash, don't be silly. I've been holding an ice pack down there all day. People keep looking at me funny but I keep yelling out "I'm NOT touching it." randomly so they know...

THe Norton is a recent aquisition. Was my late step-dads. Hadn't run in 30 years. I got it running a few weeks ago... Going to fix all mechanicals then do a mid-level restore...

That Norton is bad to the bone, brother. I'd have a hard time not making that into the ultimate, ultimate cafe racer as many did in the day.

A stunt guy was doing similar and went to ER, they did an MRI and he'd torn his femoral artery. They said he'd probably would have bled out overnight if they had not done the MRI

I've had 2 inguinal hernias, neither one sudden. The pop sounds like a tendon. Hernias generally don't hurt much and don't effect being able to close your legs. At least not in my cases.

Jesus Christ Hugh! You're gonna turn me into a hypochondriac.

The norton is in really good shape. Much of the brightwork just needs a little elbow-grease. Cleaned the fuel system and after I figured out how to "Tickle the Carbs" (their words) it started on the 4th kick. (No sissy electric start on this bike). Unreal. It's got 7700 miles on it... I'm probably going to put a straight bar and a cafe monoposto seat on it, and call it a day.

damn. that bike deserves it's own thread. shame it must share space with your groin.

I'm not displeased that conversation has wandered away from my "groinal region"

I'll have a thread once the real work on the bike begins...
