is the new stuff strips or is it an engineered flooring?

if the later, do you have a membrane under it to reduce clicking?

Clicking and squeaks are good.....it let's you know where the black chopper troops are enfilading past your perimeter....

Pergo. It has a foam backing to help reduce noise.
