Cat Eye: Apple-level Customer Service
Getting back on my bike this spring, I wasn't surprised that the battery had died over the winter on my Cat Eye bike computer. Bought it 2 years ago.
But there didn't seem to be any way to replace the battery. Pulling out the 4 screws in the back, still couldn't get it open. Called customer service to see if there was anything I was doing wrong. They said, no, we'll just send you a new one, just send that one back. So in the mail today I get a new computer, but it's the upgraded wireless one with more functions and features. My old one was wired. if you are considering a bike computer, definitely consider a Cat Eye!

Hmm, my Cateye bike computer has died too. I'll do something about it now . . . and I have two more bikes that need computers, so - let us know how you like the new computer, I need to buy some.
