Stubs made a dry rub a few years ago and I can't find it anymore. Never tried their steak marinating sauce but will put it on the list.

I like to do my own thing most of the time but will admit that Stubb's marinades are good. Use the beef for steaks. Use the chicken ( I think the one with ginger) for grilling catfish. Wife likes this one a lot and it's just too easy sometimes.

Stubbs makes a good sauce, but I really like "Dale's" Steak marinade (an Alabama-based chain from back in the 50's-60's)...the sauce is still sold. Great overnight marinade.

My daughter (who doesn't like anything) likes the chicken sauce as well. Good stuff.

Stubb's Pork marinade is great for chops on the grill. Excellent flavor, just the right amount of spice, and it keeps the meat nice and juicy as well. Let them marinate for about an hour or two before grilling.

been using stubbs marinates for years.... by far some of the best out there. Wish I could say the same for their actual BBQ downtown, but they do know how to make a marinate!!!

Like the Dales too but recently switched to a lower sodium version called Moores. Equally good just not as salty.

Just look for the low sodium version. It is in a green bottle instead of the regular red/black. You can order it directly from theem if you need to:

Dale's Seasoning

I really can't tell much difference after marinating the steaks overnight. I simply then just coat them with some fresh-ground coffee and it seems to amaze everyone. Great taste for a cookout without having to do much prep work.

katsup or mustard base
evoo
apple vinager
soy sause
garlic
thyme
rosemary
oregano
cumin
pepercorns
brown sugar
dried red hatch chili powder
lil daves insanity for heat

i dont marinade meat for long with sauses. but i will use these dry ingredients in my rub if i was to flavor overnight.
dont ask me ratios; because i have no clue!!!! just make it up as i go, till it has the taste i like that day.
have rarely found any store bought sause/rub that doesnt taste store bought. most are too sugary/salty for me.
