UNIMOG for sale
***SOLD***
This certainly "off topic", hope its OK to post this but I know it will appeal to some of you. Interested in interesting Porsche trades ![]() Hate to do it but realizing that I have too many toys and some, like the MOG, just are not getting used like they should. I imported the truck about 5 years ago and have done many modifications and thoroughly enjoyed every minute with the MOG! 1985 U1700L38 DOKA Legally imported and licensed in WA state as a regular pick up truck so there are no suprises there 56,000KM's L38...long wheel base model, makes an excellent candidtate for a camper conversion OM352 Turbocharged motor with tuned injection pump and larger injectors. Runs very smooth and cruises nicely on the freeway 60-70MPH! ex firetruck from Sweeden. I removed all the fire equipment and proceeded to build the custom bed and interior. All fire equip is gone. Front and rear air locking differentials Front and rear hydraulic connections and a two stage hydraulic pump Rear high speed PTO Claas 22% Overdrive High speed axles Working gear box, high speed gear box Front winch - 12,000lb Warn hydraulic Rear winch - 20,000 Braden hydraulic Raised roof cab with vent hatch Interior - Heated/power leather Range Rover front seats and matching rear bench that folds into a bed. New door panels and custom center console with cup holders and power outlets Overhead console with DVD/stereo player, aux power outlets, and CB Lockable custom storage boxes on rear bed Custom front brush guard HEMMIT 10x20 2 piece wheels. Powder coated, all new hardware. New sealing rings, bead locks installed and balancing gel. Michelin X tires...almost new. Extra set of highway wheels with new Semperit tires 9x22.5 220V engine block heater and 220V battery charger New large series Interstate battery Webasto diesel heater under the rear bench with thermostat 18 bar air system 85-90 gallon fuel tank...approx 1000 mile range. All transmission fluids changed with synthetic fluids to make cold gear changes much easier. I also have a complete set of new tinted glass which replaces ALL the windows but I never got around to that project I really hate to see this go as I know I will never be able to replace it but interests change and priorities change so it is time to find the MOG a new home. I keep the truck garaged about 45 min south of Seattle. I'm more than happy to chat on the phone and share more photos or even video. I bought this truck sight unseen from the Sweedish fire department so naturally there were a bunch of unanswered questions but I lucked out with this rig. It is very clean and everything functions perfectly. It is very comfortable to drive and despite fuel economy, theres no reason why this could not be driven anywhere in the country. I have driven it on 1000 mile road trip with no issues at all. MOGforsale( at )yahoo.com ![]() ![]() ![]()

Do......want......
I find it amusing that the beast has memory power seats. That will help with comfort when crushing zombies.

Hmmm...that link worked a minute ago. It looks like Benzworld is experiencing some problems. I'll repost the entire ad here
$85,000 Heated seats too!!! Got to have warm buns while your co-pilot is firing the 50 cal out the roof hatch while chasing zombies ![]() Bead lock rims so you can run at 8psi while using your crawling gears to get over the mountains of dead zombies. The 20,000lb winch is good for moving your house to a different location if you wanted to!

Parts are readily available...I have never had an issue getting parts and at 36,000 miles, you shouldn't need any for a long, long time! But yes, there are a couple vendors in the states and most parts are far easier than they are for our vintage Porsches.
Rare sight... ![]() Great for family outings... ![]() Common sight... ![]() I look forward to the snow where it is well known as being the local rescue vehicle ![]() ![]()

G'day!

Gotta be on your bucket list...not necessarily ownership....which would be sweet...but to pull up next to some jack-wagon in his "tricked out" Hummer with this baby....oh that would be the BEST!

Oh but there are 4 cup holders!
![]() Yes, at over 10' tall, you look eye to eye with 18 wheelers and down on Hummers and those GMC Kodiak trucks. Bumper sticker...."Offical Hummer recovery vehicle"

Dyno results
It's probably not the most accurate dyno in the world but I love the "Dynolicious" iphone app...and it's supposed to be accurate to 5%. I just love the accuracy of the shift points and RPM drops. NO COMMENT on the 0-60 time! I'll tell you, shifting 7 times and splitting gears at the best RPM possible...you've got your hands full in that amount of time! Surprisingly it feels pretty quick in the MOG
![]() 60 MPH and still 500 RPM to go. Mog's are built to run safely at redline speeds all day long and this one redlines at 3000 RPM.
