You guys are AWESOME! I absolutely loved all the birthday wishes. And thanks again, Rick for starting the thread... even though it was based on my looks? He he. Which I find hilarious because I don't know what most of you look like still.
Spent a quiet day home with my boys... scratch that. We went and picked peaches in the morning. Now I am trying to figure out what to do with all the peaches. Anybody have any good recipes? 38... I sure as heck don't feel like I am 38, which I guess is a good thing. Don't worry fellas, plenty of years to finally get my Porsche and REALLY wreck havoc on this forum! Hugs and kisses to all of you! |

Simmer on low for 20 minutes. Uncover. Add another 2 oz Cointreau. So Contreauversial. Cover. Simmer for another 10 minutes or until desired viscosity. Is this breakfast time? Dinner time? Does it matter? Any time is perfect! Part 2 - Crêpes 1 Cup All Purpose Flour 1 Tablespoon White Sugar 1 Teaspoon Salt 2 Cups of 1% Milk 3 Whole Eggs Est Prep Time: 5 Mins Use a 12-14" mixing bowl. Flour. Sugar. Salt. Milk. Mix on low. Bubbles are OK. Add 3 Eggs. Mix on medium until thin. Ensure that you are using a proper crêpe pan. Medium high heat. Add a soup ladle sized amount of mix to center of pan. Spread evenly. Flip only once. Part 3 - Assembly Slice and saute another peach. Roll into crêpe. Cover crêpe with reduction as desired. Add a dollop of crème fraiche. Part 4 - Garnish 250 mL Crème Fraiche Add orange rind to crème fraiche. Sliced pear. Raspberries. Cinnamon. Nutmeg.
